Peer Support

Peer Support
Most of us didn't fall apart alone - we fell apart when the unit wasn't around anymore. Peer Support is our way of rebuilding that sense of squad, so no one has to fight the after-war by themselves.

Our Peer Support Groups are led by veterans who have their own scars and stories, not by people reading from a manual. In these rooms, you don't have to translate your language or explain why certain dates on the calendar feel heavier than others. You can talk about nightmares, anger, guilt, or the feeling of being "back" even when you're sitting in your living room - and the guys and women around you just nod, because they've been there too.

We keep the groups small enough that everyone can speak if they want, and quiet is always an option. Some vets sit in the back for a few weeks before they ever say a word. That's okay. Just being in the room, hearing other people put words to what you've been carrying, can start to loosen the weight.

Alongside group time, we offer Self-Esteem Workshops built specifically for veterans who feel like they've lost their worth somewhere between the battlefield and the bus ride home. These are not cheesy motivational sessions. We talk honestly about shame, moral injury, and the lie that your worst day defines your whole life. Through simple exercises, real conversation, and steady encouragement from fellow vets, we help you rebuild a picture of yourself that includes strength, resilience, and the right to get back up.

Over and over, we hear the same thing: "I thought I was the only one." Peer Support proves that you are not alone, you are not broken beyond repair, and there is still a team ready to stand watch with you while you find your footing again.
